Tuition and Accessibility

We strive to balance fair wages for ourselves, the costs of running the program, and accessibility for families.

We accept childcare vouchers and are also able to offer some private financial aid, based on availability of funds. 

We ask that families with greater financial resources consider contributing additional funds or "rounding up" in their tuition payments--these contributions are the foundation of our tuition assistance fund and enable Taproot to provide care for families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

For 2026, the full tuition rates are as follows:

• Infant Full Day: $110

• Infant Half Day: $80

• Toddler Full Day: $90

• Toddler Half Day: $65 

A full day is 7-8 hours of care and a half day is 4-5 hours of care. Infants are children aged 15 months and younger.

Tuition is due in advance (by the last day of the previous month) and is not refunded in the case of unexpected closures or if your child is absent.

Rates and policies are subject to yearly review and change, depending on the needs of our families and the program as it grows and changes.
