Tuition and Accessibility

We strive to balance fair wages for ourselves, the costs of running the program, and accessibility for families.

We accept childcare vouchers and are also able to offer some private financial aid, based on availability of funds. 

We ask that families with greater financial resources consider contributing additional funds or "rounding up" in their tuition payments--these contributions to our tuition equity fund enable Taproot to provide care for families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. 

Tuition includes meals and snacks (for those eating solid foods), nap materials (crib or mat, sheet, blanket or sleep sack), laundry, and more!

For the 2026-2027 school year (mid-August to mid-June), the full tuition rates are as follows:

• 4 full days a week: $20,240

• 3 full days a week: $17,180

• 2 full days a week: $14,120
  
  

• 4 half days a week: $15,840

• 3 half days a week: $12,880

• 2 half days a week: $9,920

A full day is 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM and a half day is 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. 

Tuition is due in advance (by the last day of the previous month) and is not refunded in the case of unexpected closures or if your child is absent.

Tuition may be paid on a monthly or weekly basis via check or ACH (automated scheduled bank-to-bank payments).
