Where are you located?

We are located north of downtown Amherst, on a quiet street between Kendrick Park and Amherst Regional Middle School. 

What are your rates and hours?

For 2026, the daily rate for infants (15 months and under) is $110 per day (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM). While the program is still small, we are open to flexing the hours slightly based on family needs (for example, if a family wants to do 8 AM - 4 PM or 9 AM - 5 PM instead, or to extend the hours for an additional $15 per hour). 

Families with fewer financial resources may apply for tuition assistance. 

Families with greater financial resources may opt to contribute additional funds or "round up" in their tuition payments--these contributions are the foundation of our tuition assistance fund and enable Taproot to provide needed child care for families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. 

Rates and policies are subject to yearly review and change, depending on the needs of our families and the program as it grows and changes.
